UniQ - The University Quarter

The University Quarter is a £282 million transformation project to create a state-of-the-art learning quarter in Stoke-on-Trent.

The largest collaborative project of its type in the UK, it involves Staffordshire University and key education partners Stoke-on-Trent FE College and Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College in a unique project to drive up aspirations and skills.

It will bring new development and major improvements to an important area of Stoke-on-Trent between the railway station and the city centre.  This includes new shared education facilities which in turn will encourage commercial and residential investment.

“UniQ is so much more than new buildings. We have set out to drive change across the city - to change peoples’ expectations and aspirations, raise achievement in schools and ensure both students’ and employers’ needs are met right here in the heart of the city.
