Leaders from five Indian institutions visited Staffordshire University’s Stafford and Stoke campuses this week as part of an international fact finding mission.

The visit was organised by the British Council in a bid to broker new academic partnerships with key UK universities.

The visitors toured the Faculty of Computing Engineering and Technology taking in the newly upgraded high definition Television Studio before moving up to Stoke to view facilities in the purpose built Law School and the biomechanics laboratory. They also met with representatives from the University’s Business School.

Hamish Main, Director of South Asia Partnerships for the International Office, who hosted the visit said: “Our visitors were complimentary, and we will be following up several of the leads generated by their visit.”
