Outcome 1. A new Masters Programme in Entrepreneurship and Local Economic Development (LED)

The senior staff of partner country universities will visit EU universities in order to study their academic programmes in Entrepreneurship (as well as their experience of implementing the 3-cycle study programmes). Once approved at the Faculty level, the new Masters programme will go through the normal approval process in participating universities in the first year of the Project. This is a 120-ECTS Masters level programme (2nd cycle of the Bologna system) consisting of three semesters of coursework and a fourth semester for Dissertation.

The Masters Programme will be based at one of the partner universities in each partner country and professors from all partner universities in that country will contribute to the teaching of modules. The teaching staff involved in the programme (12 from each partner country) will be offered staff mobility visits (2-3 weeks long) to EU partner universities to upgrade their knowledge and prepare detailed teaching material for their subjects. Professors and individual experts from EU partners will also participate in the teaching of these modules. The teaching and learning methodology for this programme will be the student-centred, case-oriented method which is particularly suitable for Masters level studies.
