Voluntary Healthcare Scheme
As part of Staffordshire University’s Health and Wellbeing initiative and in order to enhance the range of benefits available to employees, we have linked up with Standard Life in order to provide employees and their families with the opportunity to purchase a comprehensive healthcare plan at very competitive rates.
The scheme commenced during April 2009 and is administered by the University on behalf of Standard Life with deductions being made monthly via payroll.

Premiums
Staffordshire University has negotiated competitive monthly premiums for employees on an age banding basis as follows:

I want to take out this health care plan – what do I do now?
The process is very straightforward, all you need to do is complete the application form and salary deduction from and send them to Personnel Services, Cadman Building, Stoke Campus.
Once your application form has been processed, Standard Life will issue you with a policy document.
