The quality of the student experience is often one of the most significant factors that determine whether a student completes his or her study at University. The Student Office touches every student throughout his or her University experience. From your first contacts during Welcome Week, enrolment, continuing with support for your academic progress and emotional development, culminating in graduation and beyond, the Student Office plays a vital role in facilitating your journey through the University.

Part of the role of the Dean's Office is to monitor and evaluate your experience as a student. we value your views and recognise the importance of listening to your student voice to help us monitor and improve our services.  There are many opportunities for you to let us know what you think.

We use a variety of questionnaires and surveys throughout the year and have listed below some of the ways in which you can use your student voice.

  • Student Viewfinder Survey (SVS)
  • National Student Survey (NSS)
  • Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)
  • Student Academic Representatives (STARs)
  • Module Evaluation
  • Student - Staff Liaison Groups
  • Students' Union

Want to tell us what you think About the University? or Want to find out more? Visit our Student Voice page, which we have designed to inform you about ways in which you can get involved and what changes have been made as a result of student feedback.
