What is Business and Economics Club? The Business and Economics Club consists of a group of students from different schools and colleges who have a common interest in the same subjects. They meet throughout the year at Staffordshire University Business School for a series of events. The topics chosen will be trending on social media, the news, or relevant to the lives of young people. We have speakers who are doing current research as well as employers who have an interest in the topics under discussion, so it’s also a great opportunity to network.
Who is is it for?Anyone in year 12 or 13 who is interested in business and economics, it does not matter if you plan to study something else at university. However, if you are interested in studying business or economics the club will give you a chance to be involved in lively lectures, discussions and debates on topics that are currently trending, you also get to meet current lecturers and researchers which will help you make the transition to university, and enhance your personal statements when you apply to university.
