A research project in partnership with The Open University (OU) and The Workers' Education Association (WEA)
This research focused on under-represented groups who are studying part-time in the initial stages of entry to adult, further and higher education. The research explored their motives for study, progress on course, retention and progress. In addition it looked at the changes that learning has brought to their lives. The research was carried out in partnership with the Open University and the WEA.
