Full-time students:  Staffordshire University recommends that you work for no more than 16 hours per week during term-time.

 

National Minimum Wage (NMW)

 

1 Oct 2008 to 30 Sep 2009

Employees aged 18 to 21 are entitled to NMW of £4.77 per hour.

Employees aged 22 or over are entitled to NMW of £5.73 per hour.

 

New Rates - from 1 Oct 2009

Employees aged 18 to 21 will be entitled to NMW of £4.83 per hour.

Employees aged 22 or over will be entitled to NMW of £5.80 per hour.
