Beaconside Sports Centre

Beaconside Sports Centre (BSC) is a Staffordshire University sports facility which is open to students, staff and the public.  In fact BSC has something to offer everyone!

The facility has been fitted out with a superb range of equipment and we have an interesting programme of activities which is continually being developed.

• HealthConnection Fitness Suite
• Infra-Red Sauna
• Two Astroturf pitches for small sided or full sided hockey and football activities
• Sports Hall offering badminton, football, basketball etc
• Studio offering  fitness pilates, aerobics, spinning etc
• Grass pitches including a football pitch, rugby pitch and training area  
• Free walks led by qualified "Walking the way to Health" walk leaders
• GP Referrals
• Easter and Summer  childrens holiday activities
• On site Sports Therapy Clinic provided by Back on Track                          

Our facilities are available for hire by individuals, groups and clubs. We are currently the venue for various martial arts clubs (including RISK karate), the Aston Villa F.C Development Centre, Little Stoke Cricket Club (Juniors), junior and senior football clubs, Stafford Ladies Hockey Club and Stafford Mens Hockey Club, day care centres, NHS Referral Groups and many local schools.
