Sir Stanley Matthews Sports Centre

Sir Stanley Matthews Sports Centre (SSMSC) is a Staffordshire University sports facility which is open to students, staff and the public.  

Our centre has a great deal to offer students, staff and the local community.  The facility has been fitted out with a superb range of equipment and we have an interesting programme of activities which is continually being developed.

• Two Astroturf pitches for small sided or full hockey and football.
• Sports Hall offering badminton, football, basketball etc
• Activities Room offering yoga, aerobics, pilates etc
• Grass pitches including a football pitch, rugby pitch and training areas
