5 July Clearing opens for all students to call up and discuss their options with us. If you already have your grades, you can submit an application at this stage.
15 August Results day for the majority of students, including A-Level and BTEC students – you’re now able to apply with us through the Clearing process.
4 October Clearing closes in early October, but many of our courses fill up before then, so reach out to our team in good time to secure your place.

I applied through clearing because I made a late decision about whether I wanted to go to university. The clearing experience was fantastic; I spoke with a helpful student ambassador who guided me through it. I received a call and an email confirming my enrolment in Esports. Initially, the course I chose was great, but as time went on, I realised it wasn't the right fit for me. This year, I made the switch to Creative Media Production, and the experience has been incredible. One of my proudest achievements so far has been becoming a committee member for both the LGBTQ network and the Myth Society. I really wanted to make a positive impact and contribute to the experiences of the members in each group.
My Clearing experience was really demoralising on results day because I didn’t get the grades I needed. I nearly gave up! Then I plucked up the courage and spoke to the University of Staffordshire Clearing hotline; they were so warm, friendly and reassuring. I am SO glad I rang and didn’t let others cloud my judgement. I graduated in BA (Hons) Business Management and I am now doing my doctorate.
