Esports is a thriving phenomenon with the emergence of professional computer gameplay, complete with competitive players, management teams, tournament organisers, commentators, sponsorship and spectators. What started as friends gathering in each other's homes hosting LAN parties has now become an official network of professional gaming tournaments, leagues and circuits which are live streamed and accessible to a wide audience.
