What our students say
I have been amazed at my own capability, development and confidence after studying the LPC at Staffs.'
Gary Bennett - Full-time student
'All the staff have the attitude, knowledge and open door policy that means that some of the most difficult tasks become a walk in the park. Any
questions you have are no problem - just knock on their door, phone or e-mail the staff and they will help. I don't believe I would you get this much support elsewhere.
I feel as ready as I can be to start my training contract; I know that I am entering the
profession with the best possible start which is a priceless feeling!
Katie Baker - current LPC student.
'My experience on the part-time Staffordshire LPC was very positive. The quality of teaching and learning was excellent and the lecturers and administrative staff were very helpful and supportive. Having attended several universities during my academic career, I would nominate Staffordshire Law School as by far the best and would strongly recommend it to any prospective student.'
Steven Davis - Part-time student
What it's about
The BL Legal Practice Course (LPC) is the postgraduate stage on the route to becoming a solicitor and represents practical training for the solicitors’ profession, where students learn how to put law into practice. Most students study the LPC after completing the academic stage of training by means of passing a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL). What has to be studied at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in order to become a solicititor is largely determined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and is therefore largely the same at any provider.
