What its about

The HND top-up course is designed to take holders of a HND in a computing/IT related subject through to a full BSc(Hons) degree. The course is delivered over 18 months, (three University semesters) and you may join either in September or January. You will agree a personal study plan that will map your studies from your HND programme, to your chosen degree. It is possible for you, under certain circumstances, to undertake a six-month work placement, which makes the course two years in length.

What you do

You will study four 15 credit second year modules in your first semester. In semesters two and three you will study the full final year; eight modules or 120 credits in total. Your top-up course features a major project module that will enable you to integrate your studies into a single piece of work.

For more detail on the course content, please have a look at the normal 3-4 year degree listing.

Further award and module information can be found here.
