The programme is delivered over two years by the HRM team. It has been designed by the CIPD to enable those seeking a career in People Management to meet the high standards expected of a professional HRM/D Manager. Students will study modules that are relevant to their work issues, and be assessed in an appropriate way, set by the University tutors.  This means that students will achieve both a University award and a CIPD qualification.

Investigating a Business Issue from a HR Perspective. The remaining two option modules are determined via employer and student surveys. This ensures that the University is delivering the modules which are appropriate for the needs of our stakeholders. Examples of modules available include: Managing Employee Relations, Employment Law, and Learning and Talent Development.  

The CIPD Post Graduate Diploma will enable you to further your career in Human Resources and you will also be in a position to continue your studies in the MA in Strategic HRM, by studying for a further 18 months.
