What it's about
This course is for Computing/IT graduates who would like to extend their studies into the area of applied business computing and would like to take a breadth of subjects at postraduate level. Heavy emphasis is placed on theory and practical issues in order that you gain the ability to develop business computing artifacts and implementations. This award includes a possible placement in industry. This period is particularly valuable if you wish to enhance your skills in a working environment. Frequently the work in industry drives the focus the student has in the dissertation.
At the end of the first study period you are eligible for the Postgraduate Certificate, at the end of the second, the Postgraduate Diploma and at the end of the dissertation, the MSc.
What you do
You will study six core modules over the duration of the course, plus two specific options and finally you will write a disseration to complete the MSc.
The course is available to start in either September or January and requires 4 hours attendance per week. Currently, it is timetabled to run on Wednesday afternoon and evening.
