Creative Community Consultation - Get Talking

About the course

The course is based on the principles of Participation Action Learning and explores a wide range of creative community consultation techniques. 

It aims to enable participants to develop strategies for supporting local people to be involved in consulting their communities and in developing action plans that meet community needs.

The courses are designed for community workers and community educators who work to promote greater participation.

Whilst all sessions are taught together, you can choose to study the course at undergraduate level (Developing Approaches to Creative Consultation) or in more depth at postgraduate level (Managing Participatory Consultation).

 

Course dates

The course runs over 5 days for Level 4 and 7:

Wednesday 2nd November 2011 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Wednesday 23rd November 2011 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Wednesday 14th December 2011 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Thursday 12th January 2012 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Thursday 9th February 2012 - 10:00am - 4:00 pm

Fees and Bursaries:

University Level 1 (NQF 4) £202.50, Masters Level (NQF 7) £247.50. Fee reductions may be available for students on low incomes, pensions or benefits.
