Certificate of Credit
What it's about
Evaluation in Community Programmes explores the policy context of evaluation in UK community programmes with a focus on public, private, voluntary and community organisations. You will assess the scope and nature of monitoring, evaluation, quality assessment and best practice, and the relation of evaluation to performance management and the 'learning organisation'. You will use case materials related to community working environments, and appraise different models and approaches used in the monitoring and evaluation of community programme. You will also explore the influence of mind-sets and biases in evaluation.
The course is designed for anyone in the statutory or third sectors, or freelancers, who needs to know more about the evaluation of programmes and projects involving communities.
