What it's about

If you are considering entering a management career, then our MSc International Business course is suitable for you.  Those wishing to explore in person international companies' processes and the views of their managers can attend the overseas residential (study trip - with costs covered by the Business School) instead of one of the other international Management specialisms such as international marketing or international finance.

A very special optional feature of this award is the study abroad opportunity.  You can study the whole of block 2 (February-June) at Beijing Foreign Studies University, at no extra cost.  You would be taught and assessed in English with all teaching being contextualised to the Chinese environment.  This includes aspects of Chinese culture and business etiquette and the development of a business in China.

You will experience a challenging and stimulating intensive course in management, with an international perspective, to enhance your personal and career development.  To facilitate this you will use, share and reflect upon your experiences alongside those of others in your Learning Team.  You will be allocated to your small multi-cultural  'Learning Team' during induction.  A few Learning Teams are combined to form tutorial groups, with each having their own personal tutor.
