Internet Commerce: Joint Degrees

BSc(Hons)

What its about

This half degree provides graduates with the skills necessary to exploit the rapidly expanding global marketplace created by the Internet.  Businesses are now utilising the potential of the Internet for marketing their products and processing sales, leading to many positions becoming available in small and medium sized enterprises.

Possible combinations with Internet Commerce include:

Business Studies
Geography
Legal Studies
LLB

What you do

At each of the three levels there is an opportunity for you to choose a general option, as well as award specific options at levels 2 and 3.  The award team has identified a number of themes that can be followed through at each level to give you a broad understanding of a subject that will complement your studies.  For example you may wish to follow a multimedia theme, studying an introductory multimedia module at level 1, and developing this further at level 2 and level 3.   These themes are not restricted to the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology.  Indeed, it may be a positive advantage to study, for example, a Business theme if the other half of your award is not Business Studies.

Further award structure and module information is available here.
