What its about
These workshops will use simulated situations to give managers an important opportunity to practice essential communication skills in key areas of the management environment. By the end of the workshop managers will be able to:
Series 1
Learning about effective management strategies to address performance management, misconduct and attendance issue
Understanding the demands on managers for skilful communication when managing restructuring
Series 2
Handling Situations with increased confidence by the use of skilful communication when managing bullying, workplace disputes, grievances, welfare and conflict issues
Series 3
An understanding of emotional intelligence
Creating mechanisms for voicing objections
Learning how to express dissent constructively
Appreciating the importance of individual control
Understanding your own management style
This practical based workshop is suitable for any members of staff who have management or team responsibilities now or those who would wish to pursue a career in management in the future.
