What it's about

The Virtual Open Day

Ideal for graduates from Computing related disciplines in employment this course takes them into postgraduate studies without the need for full-time or weekly attendance.  The aim of the course is to provide a thorough and deep knowledge of mobile computing related topics.  As a student you will be given the opportunity to examine a wide range of practices, subject areas and technologies.  Heavy emphasis is placed on theory and practical issues in order that you gain the ability to develop mobile computing artifacts and implementations.  The course will focus on both architecture and software issues.  Entry requirements are a good honours degree in a computing discipline.  At the end of the first study period you are eligible for the Postgraduate Certificate, at the end of the second, the Postgraduate Diploma and at the end of the dissertation, the MSc.

What you do

You are expected to study a minimum of two modules per semester.  Semesters usually follow the University academic calendar but can also include a summer period to speed progression through the course.
