What our students say
Students have valued the opportunity to work in small multidisciplinary groups, and to be able to focus on palliative and end of life care specific to their own area of practice.
"thanks for suggesting the module run by Dr Benbow …. on death certification . He was brilliant and I really enjoyed the two days and am looking forward to the next ones"
What it's about
This is an exciting new award which recognises that everyone has a right of access to palliative and end of life care and services appropriate to their need. The focus of the award is designed to be multi disciplinary and inclusive of palliative and end of life care across a range of settings. The award is open to applicants who are involved with such care in the health and social care sector or voluntary sector, or who have a responsibility for developing such services or such care.
There is scope within the award for students to focus on areas of care which are of particular interest to themselves and their own practice because assessments are practice focussed. There is significant interdisciplinary learning with some shared modules.
