What it's about
Commissioning Local Services explores the definition of commissioning and the current policy context of service commissioning. You will also investigate the context of multi-agency working between public, private and third sector organisations, different stakeholder perspectives on the commissioning process, the competencies required for effective commissioning, commissioning standards and case studies of local experiences.
The course is designed for anyone who works in the voluntary, community or statutory sectors or who is interested in the commissioning of social services.

The course runs over 3 days:
Tuesday 1st May 2012 9.30am - 4.30pm
Tuesday 22nd May 2012 9.30am - 4.30pm
Tuesday 12th June 2012 9.30am - 4.30pm
