Teaching in Health Psychology

What it's about
This 45 credit module can be studied on its own or as part of the Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology.
In this module you will develop your teaching skills, enabling you to teach two different types of students, one of which must be health care professionals.
This will be assessed by
a) a case study of a teaching programme you have designed and implemented yourself;
b) an evaluation of that case study;
c) a video recording/DVD of a teaching session and teaching plan; and
d) a reflexive report and diary.

| Entry Requirements: | You must have attained at least a merit or 60% on an MSc in Health Psychology which is accredited by the British Psychological Society or Stage 1 training for Chartered Health Psychologist Status. In some circumstances we can accept individuals who do not have the above entry requirements but do have prior experience in the area of Health Psychology.
