About Us
We are a well established Assessment Centre. Our assessors are fully qualified and experienced in working with people with a wide range of impairments. These would include specific learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia), physical, hearing or visual impairments, mental health issues and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
Applying for the Disabled Students' Allowances can be a complicated and lengthy process and it is therefore extremely important that you respond to requests quickly and apply for the Allowances early. Your Disability Advisor at your University or College can guide you through the process. If you are a Staffordshire University student, contact the Student Enabling Centre for assistance.
Networks and Quality Assurance
The Staffordshire Regional Access Centre is a member of the National Network of Assessment Centres. We are an accredited assessment centre listed as meeting the Quality Assurance Framework quality standards set by the Disabled Students’ Allowances - Quality Assurance Group.
