Assessment Attempts – On Time, FIRST Time

A submission date will be specified for each piece of assessment for each of your modules. It is ESSENTIAL that you submit your work or attend assessments at the FIRST attempt.
Students who do not achieve a pass mark in their assessments will only be given an automatic retake opportunity if they have made a first attempt.
The only time that this rule will not apply is where a student has a successful claim for extenuating circumstances. For further details you should read the Procedure for Making a Claim for Extenuating Circumstances.
A fail in a core module will mean that you have failed your award.
