The Advance card meal scheme

Concerning yourself about your next meal on campus should be the last of your worries; to help plan your food budget and maintain a healthy diet, we have put together a fantastic pre paid scheme that will enable you to purchase your meals in ADVANCE with tremendous discounts on “off the shelf” pricing.

The ADVANCE scheme runs from the start of the September term and allows you to purchase a termly meal card for use across the campus in any “food for thought” catering outlet at Stafford or Stoke.

Each two week meal card permits the use of the card for 10 transactions up to the value of £3.50 each over a two week period. The actual cost of the card is £29.99 which in essence saves £5.00 on each full card, a saving of over 14%, if the maximum amount is spent. 

You can use the card for whatever you like; a meal for yourself, treating friends to a coffee and a cake or just simply stocking up on snacks and drinks... the choices are yours. 

Here are a few examples of the choices available:

• 7 Item breakfast with tea or coffee in the Pavilion
• Main meal in Bush House with a regular soft drink
• Chicken wraps with regular dispensed drink in the Pavilion
• Freshly filled deli baguette plus freshly made soup
• 2 Latte coffees with 2 freshly baked muffins in the Dolche Vita Cafe (why not treat a mate)

Cards can be purchased termly or why not opt for a Gold Advance card covering terms 1 & 2 for even greater savings:

We will be distributing meal cards on Saturday 17th September 2011 in the Stanley Matthews Sports Centre, Stoke and on Sunday 18th September 2011 in the Octagon Building, Beaconside campus, Stafford. 

After these dates, cards can be collected from the Catering Office, Stoke or the Catering Office, Beacon Building, Stafford.
