The Centre for Professional Development is responsible for staff training and development policies that reflect and support the needs of a diverse employed learning community.

- Enterprise and Commercial Development (ECD)
The University's link to Business, Industry and the Community. Staff development activities can be arranged relating to diversifying income streams; accessing external funding; knowledge and technology transfer and commercialisation. ECD work closley with regional business support agencies on employer engagement with public, private and non-for-profit sectors and can signpost staff to a variety of training and development activities.
