Dementia has been described as an erosion of personhood, a ‘dying before death’. But why do we fear dementia so much? And if we look at dementia in a different way, might it be less frightening? Dr Peter Kevern, Associate Professor in Values in Care, explores what the fear of dementia says about the way we ‘make meaning’ in our relationships with each other.

Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm before the talk begins at 6.00pm.
