Holocaust Memorial Day Commemorative Event

Date

January 27 Friday

Each year Holocaust Memorial Day urges us to pause and reflect on what can happen when racism, prejudice and exclusionary behaviour are left unchecked. It is a day on which we take time to remember the lessons of the past in order to bring hope for the future. We are privileged to have a survivor, Germain, of the Rwandan atrocities of 1994, who will come and share his experience along with presentations from local school children who have been asked to consider and reflect on this year's theme.
