National Design Academy

Staffordshire University is now engaged in a number of collaborative partnerships with organisations (Colleges, Academies etc.) across the U.K. In this collaboration, the University acts as the academic partner that secures the quality, standards and credibility of the courses they deliver. Our partners deliver these courses to their students as part of the distributed strategy of Staffordshire University.

The National Design Academy degrees are within the remit of the Faculty of Arts Media and Design, where there is a dedicated Partnership Manager who quality assures the courses. With a background of working in the interior design sector, the Partnership Manager works closely with the National Design Academy to ensure University requirements are met and the needs of students are supported appropriately.

The University recognises the National Design Academy as an innovator in the field of distance learning for design awards, and enjoys working in partnership in this exciting and fast-moving area of the creative and cultural industries.

Based in Nottingham, The National Design Academy offers fully accredited Interior Design courses. From Foundation to Degree level, our soft furnishings & curtain making course and interior design courses are designed for you to study from the comfort of your own home.

Our interior design courses and soft furnishings & curtain making course qualify for partial government funding which means much lower fees than those charged by universities and all the studies are flexible enough for you to continue with other work and family commitments.
