Betty Smithers Design Collection goes on show
The Betty Smithers Design Collection at Staffordshire University displayed its first exhibition in the Flaxman Foyer.
The collection, which houses a huge range of costume, textiles and products were displayed before Christmas. In case you missed it, here is a short video of some of the displays.

The collection is hosting another exhibition of Multi-faith wedding dresses over the coming weeks, starting Monday 8th February, in the Flaxman Foyer between 12 and 3pm every day. The exhibition will be hosting events that display the stages of a Muslim wedding, which will be held on:
Thursday 11th February - 12:15-1:45pm – Mehndi Party
Tuesday 16th February - The Wedding
Monday 22nd February - Walima (The bride’s welcoming to her husband’s home)
