Graphic Design Awards Report 2009
It's been another fantastic year for our graduates who have enjoyed great success at a range of presigious awards events.
The Shelf 09 - Annual Student Award for Creative Integration

The Shelf is an awards scheme and programme aimed at young creative graduates who have an ambition to work in the integrated creative industry. Whilst in their final semester at university our students teamed up to generate fresh ideas for an integrated creative brief. They were then selected to meet and show a selection of their work to Creative Directors and other industry experts. The winners (1st and 2nd place) receive The Shelf – so called because upon it they will be able to place the future awards they gather in their careers.
1. Tom Perry and Darren Grezsiak (Pictured left, white T-Shirts) who came 2nd in the 2009 Awards and secured a creative work placement. Tom and Darren graduated in 2009 from Staffordshire University in Illustration and Graphics respectively.
2. The 'previous winners' are Cass Ferguson and Chris McKee who scooped 1st prize in 2008, they both graduated from Staffs in Graphic Design in 2008. http://www.theshelfawards.com/
