Institute for Applied Creative Thinking (I-ACT)
Based in the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design, I-ACT will assist in the application of creative processes to a variety of social, economic, health and educational settings.
In particular it aims to promote excellence in the application of creative processes to social, community, cultural and business problems, to develop creative connections between the educational, public, private and voluntary sectors within the city, the county and the region and to enable local, regional, national and international people and organisations to work creatively and productively together.
These aims will be achieved through the application of the practical and theoretical knowledge and skills developed within the team to the needs of people living and working in a range of local and regional community, cultural, professional and business settings.
