Module information
Your Award Handbook will give you an overview of the modules you will study on your award.
You can find out more about module content and assessment at our Module Descriptions website.
Important - Please Read
Award Handbooks for 2011-12 will be added as and when they are completed by Award Leaders.
Important
You will be given submission dates for the assessment work on all your modules. It is ESSENTIAL that you hand work in as directed as failure to do so will mean that you have failed the module and will have no automatic right to retake.
Students not achieving a pass mark in their assessments will only be given an automatic referral opportunity (retake) if they have submitted work at the first attempt.
Non-submissions will incur a fail unless a claim for extenuating circumstances is upheld.
It is also essential that you attend all sessions timetabled. If you are absent without permission, your module leader will attempt to contact you. If you miss sessions, you risk being withdrawn for non-attendance - this will infer non-engagement with the module and you will fail the module.
A fail in a core module will mean you have failed your award and will not be able to continue.
