GradEX 08 Winners

Our graduate exhibition, GradEX 08, was held on 25th April in the Ruxton Technologies Centre. The prize giving took place in the Ruxton Lecture Theatre. Representing the judges Bill Garrett, a Stafford graduate and now Head of Technology, Vision Production, BBC, congratulated the Entertainment Technology students on their skills and abilities which were of industry standard and told them that their degrees from the Faculty would lead them to jobs.

- Third Sam Gage: Recreating a Dream in the Source Engine
For computing Dave Kirby from Capula, also a Faculty graduate, spoke of the high standard of entrant. For the second year running Capula recruited a number of graduates at the exhibition.

- Third Tom Beech – Research into Mobile Marketing and E-Commerce with a Two-Part Implementation
Howard Evans, from Bentley who also represented the IET, said how enjoyable and interesting, as in previous years, it was to see the students' projects and that this year he felt that they had excelled themselves.
