Peter Hooper IMECHE Fellow

Peter Hooper and 47 other new members and recently elected fellows to the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMECHE) had their status celebrated locally at Jaguar Land Rover Castle Bromwich

Peter was elected as Fellow of the IMechE in July 2008, but the ceremony for Midland Region New Members and Fellows was on 15 September 2009 at Jaguar Land Rover Castle Bromwich.  Faculty graduate Steven Bezall, who now works for Bombardier the train and plane manufacturers, was one of the 40 or so new members and is in the centre of the front row.

Peter is also shown with Rod Dawes, Chairman of the IMechE Midland Region awarding him.  There are a number of IMECHE, Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS) and British Computer Society (BCS) members and fellows in the Faculty and we encourage students to join the relevant professional body paticularly if it is the one accrediting their award.
