GradEx is the work of graduating students - fully prepared to launch their careers in the outside world their work is not only of a professional standard but of a high professional standard.

Here you will find design and innovation in abundance - the result of hard work and the University's experience of 40 years of delivering computing and engineering degrees.

Judges and guests are welcomed in the TV studio steamed to F14 and Red Lecture theatre

GradEX 2011 was on the 20th May 2011

Gradex just grows and grows! Over 300 students in the catalogue and now too big for the Ruxton Technology Centre - half the exhibiting students were in the Octagon this year and the two prize giving ceremonies were packed. Many students' friends and families attended and according to one music student it was the best thing he'd done since he came to uni. It was a fantastic day for all of us - staff, judges, industry visitors and students and an eye opening introduction to the faculty for our new Vice Chancellor who opened the event and welcomed the judges and visitors

GradEX 2010 30th April 2010

GradEx 2010 was on 30th April and over 230 faculty students had their final year project in the catalogue. We had a record number of visitors, many of whom were hoping to recruit a graduate, and had to hold two prize giving ceremonies to fit everyone in. Next year we will hope it will be even busier!

GradEx 09 24th April 2009

GradEx 09 was on Friday 24th April 2009. The Ruxton Technology Centre was really buzzing. Judges, Visitors, Guests and Students had a brilliant time and the prize giving was in the Red Lecture (our largest) where they were standing in the aisles, sitting on the steps and spilling out of the door.

“There are opportunities out there but you need a bit of tenacity to get them. A speculative phone call led me from filming in Nottingham at Rock City, to Shepard’s Bush and now Wembley Arena.

“The network of fellow graduates from Staffordshire University in the industry has been vital, whether the need is for a lens or a camera operator it’s been a fantastic help to call on people from my time at Stafford.” Jack Lilley, Sealegs, GradEX 2009.
