CE00225-7 Computing Skills

This module is an introduction to programming using a suitable high-level language. It is most suitable for people with little or no programming experience. It covers all the essentials of good program design, including the use of iteration, selection, sequence, functions and abstraction. An introduction to object-oriented programming and inheritance is included. Where it forms the first module prior to starting an MSc proper it must be passed to progress on to the Postgraduate Certificate stage of the MSc award.
