This module exposes the student to the use of multimedia on the web including all standards and technologies. Through studying the module you will learn about when best to use a given media, be able to design media combinations, create the media resources, and assemble these into a good application. Topics include:
Web Multimedia Design, Streaming Media, Advanced scripting for web multimedia, Web Multimedia Testing, Live Broadcast, Web Accessibility, Multi-user distributed multimedia, Mobile Multimedia applications, and Podcasts.
