CE00211-7 Game Artificial Intelligence
This masters level course is open to those interested in games programming and those interested in games design. Programmers can use the course to develop their AI programming skills in an area where a very pragmatic approach is taken to producing artificial intelligence. Designers can use the course to learn how to work with programmers, and to develop realistic understanding of what can and cannot be achieved by AI in a games context. The course is taught with lectures (shared in common by designers and programmers), and parallel tutorial streams where programmers work towards the implementation of a basic AI engine, and the designers work towards designing an AI based game, in collaboration with programmers.
