This module enables the student to study and understand the uses of multimedia and the web on mobile devices such as phones and PDA's. It will explore numerous issues, including gaming, design, development and application types to give the student a full understanding of application areas that can be designed for. Topics include: Mobile web development, Mobile Browsers, Categories of Mobile Multimedia, EMS and MMS, Flash Lite, 3G and beyond, Mobile Gaming, WML and XML and Mobile Design.
