The Faculty is a leader in entertainment technology which includes film, music and games design technologies. These are the technology and engineering bases that support and deliver most modern forms of entertainment.
The courses in the field of film technology includes Digital film with either 3 D animation or and post production technology and Broadcast technology. We have two fully equipped TV studios plus labs to support the courses.
Music technology degrees include Creative music technology, Music technology with management and E-music. Music technology can be taken at HND or degree level and students have access to a number of studios and lab facilities.
Computer games awards include Computer games design, Computer games programming, CGI and animatronics, Game artificial intelligence and Multiplayer online games design. Games awards can be undertaken at HND, degree and postgraduate level. We have the Rare motion capture studio plus labs and other facilities to industry standard. Many of the games students undertake an industry placement for one year.
