Half Award List with Description

Aeronautical Technology
This award provides you with knowledge and expertise in design and Aeronautical technology. Graduates will have a knowledge of aircraft systems and will be able to develop specifications and solutions to problems in this field.
Applied Statistics
Statistics is concerned with the collection and interpretation of quantitative data and the use of probability theory to analyse and model such data.
Computer Games Programming
The focus of this award is to develop people with computing skills that are transferable to the computer games market.

Computer Games Design
This award is all about creating designs for computer games, including animations and 3D models. Using various platforms Graduates will gain knowledge of design, and games programming.
Computing
This award is designed to introduce the student to the wide range of computing applications. These systems have an impact on everything we do, so therefore knowledge of these systems can be applied in many situations.

Electronics
This award encompasses the design and application of electronic devices, circuits and systems.
Film Production Technology
Film Technology awards cover the latest film, television, and new media technologies including aquisition, post production and graphics.
Forensic Computing
This award provides computer trained personnel with the skills necessary to recover from computer data losses whether accidental or deliberate. As such this field is becoming an important area both in business and crime detection.

Mathematics
This award is for people who have an interest in Mathematics. Using computers and analytical approaches you will be able to provide solutions in many fields.
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineers should be able to model mechanical systems and predict system behaviour. This course provides the underpinning knowledge to carry out these tasks.
