Part-time Study in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology

Part-Time Engineering Honours Degree day-release study routes at Staffordshire University.

Your attendance at the University will be approximately 27 days each academic year (one day each week for 24 weeks + assessment)

Normal length of study is 4 years if you have an HNC in Engineering

The part-time study fees are low – normally only £900 for each academic year of study (2009/2010).

Part-Time students generally enjoy their study with us, make good new friends and may return to us for Masters study.

On several occasions, students have received a pay-rise from their company of about 30% once they have completed their degree.

An Honours Degree is a gold standard for pointing your career in the right direction and the dedicated staff at Staffordshire University will help you reach your full potential.

For further information, please see our Part-Time Engineering Handbook (PDF, file size: 188.57KB) .

Part-time Computing courses

All the above Computing courses are based at, or run from, the Stoke Campus.  If you have an interest in Computing, but are unable to commit to a full-time course, we will almost certainly have a course available to suit you - from single modules to a full Master's degree.

Current prices are significantly less than the full-time equivalent, and with part-time study you will have the time to maximise your earnings, hopefully leaving you qualified AND debt-free at the end of your course

Life long learning

The Faculty has a number of work based learning schemes underway and is involved with the EU  Erasmus Work Based Learning Qualifications project.
