The Faculty

 

The Faculty of Health at Staffordshire University is the central focus for education and research in the areas of health professions, social work and sport and exercise. Course provision is delivered through one of four programme areas and research activity sits within one of our three research centres.

Courses can be tailored to the individual, incorporating not just full or part time learning but also the facility to enjoy distance learning and educational programmes from foundation level to doctorate level. Learners have access to a range of modern facilities including skills labs and on-line supported materials across a number of sites in Shropshire and Staffordshire.

 Specific educational courses include the following subject areas; Midwifery, Nursing (Adult, Child and Mental Health), Operating Department Practice, Paramedic Science, Public and Community Health Nursing, Sport and Exercise and Social Work and Advice Studies.
