The Faculty of Health is renowned for its research. The Health Research Institute (HRI) provides governance and structure for three Research Centre's, each centre has a specific focus and is actively engaged in undertaking research, consultancy, knowledge transfer activity and education relevant to its area of expertise. Read more about our Research Centre's:

Research Ethics

All staff and student projects requiring approval are subject to review by the Faculty either through the Independent Peer Review Panel or the Faculty Research Ethics Committee. Some projects also require NHS Local Research Ethics Committee [LREC] or Multi Centre Research Ethics Committee (MREC) approval. Read more about Research Ethics »
