Sport Psychology

This well equipped laboratory is used for research,concultancy and teaching in the areas of Sport Psychology, Exercise Psychology and Motor Learning. As well as academic staff it is also used extensively by post graduate and undergraduate students to conduct research projects. Examples of past research conducted in the laboratory include work exploring the impact of prior reputation on the decision-making of football referees, the effect of supportive audience on sport performance and the suceptibility of athletes to hypnosis.
