Psychology Facilities

Within Psychology we have four dedicated IT labs containing some 80 networked PC's and specialist psychology software.

Further undergraduate facilities include laboratories for cognitive psychology research, a purpose built observation suite with remote video-recording facilities and a Human Sciences Laboratory. Students also have access to quiet study areas and the Sciences I.T. Suite and Sciences Learning Resource Centre.

The Department has a large holding of psychometric test materials and research tools for our students to use, see the Test Library Index (XLS, file size: 53.5KB) for more information and an article bank of over seven thousand relevant articles.

Through the Sciences LRC and a well stocked University library access is available to general and specialist textbooks and journals for Psychology (and increasing all the time).

The Sciences LRC and specialised library facilities allow for the search and retrieval of Psychology literature.

With our extensive IT facilities, you will have easy access to the Internet and your own personal e-mail account.

And finally, but by no means least, you will have the services of a dedicated team of qualified technical support staff.
